A New Chapter for North Star Vows - But Not My First

For the past 13 years, I’ve had the incredible honor of uniting couples in marriage. It started simply — a few weddings here and there, always through word of mouth. I never had a website, a business card, or a social media presence. Just my voice, my heart, and the belief that love is always worth showing up for.
But now, after over a decade of saying “You may kiss the bride,” I’m saying something new:
Welcome to North Star Vows.
While this is the beginning of my online presence, it’s far from the beginning of my journey as an officiant. I’ve walked alongside dozens of couples as they spoke their vows, wiped away tears, held hands, and took that sacred step into a new life together. Every ceremony is different — big, small, barefoot in the grass or polished under chandeliers — but every one is rooted in love. And I love love.
What I’ve come to realize is this:
The wedding ceremony should be the calm in the storm of wedding planning.
Planning the dress, the food, the seating chart — it can all feel overwhelming. But when it comes to the moment you stand face-to-face with your person, everything else should melt away. That’s what I aim to create: a ceremony that reflects your connection, celebrates your commitment, and allows you to simply be present in the moment.
That’s why I’m excited (and a little nervous!) to step into the online world — to share more about what I do, connect with amazing vendors, and reach more couples who are looking for something meaningful, simple, and sincere. Whether you're planning a full wedding day or just want to say “I do” and sign the papers, I'm here to make it beautiful — not stressful.
Thank you for stopping by. Thank you for being here.
And if you’re planning your wedding — congratulations. Let’s make your ceremony the part you actually look forward to.
With love,
Tarah Pierce
